The Mike Tyson School of Coaching

A while ago I wrote a post about 'theoretical coaching' v 'practical coaching'.

I've decided to rebrand it as: Mike Tyson Coaching. 

Having an understanding of the theory of coaching is important.

Having an understanding of the research behind that is important. 

But when you have a group of players giving up on each other, parents calling you night and day and a club director throwing you under the bus, all the theory is nice but it isn't easy to focus on it!
